LOMA LINDA>> On Wednesday Sept. 21, deputies recovered numerous firearms from a barricaded subject's home following terrorist threats at the 26200 Block of Mission Road in Loma Linda. Deputies from the Sheriff's Central Station, Loma Linda Police, were dispatched to the location in regards to a brandishing of a firearm. The victim reported the suspect, identified as Roy Russell Sr., 52, had pulled out a gun on her and stated he was going to do something to everyone in the house. When deputies arrived at the location, Russell refused to come out of the residence. As deputies negotiated with Russell to come out, he still refused for about forty-five minutes. Russell eventually came outside and was taken into custody without incident. Russell was arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for PC422 Terrorist Threats. A search warrant was served at Russell’s residence. During the service of the search warrant service deputies located several assault type weapons, high capacity magazines, grenade launching device with rounds, several handguns and ammunition. Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact Central Station at (909) 387-3545.
