Mayor's Weekly Message: Our Fantastic Spring Events

Dear Moreno Valley Residents,

It’s not hyperbole to say we’re having a fantastic spring season.

Our annual Springtastic festival on April 1 was the premier kickoff event for Moreno Valley families. Hundreds of people spent their Saturday at Sunnymead Park for a fun-filled morning of egg hunts, games, and performances. It was the best way to ring in spring!

Later that evening, our first-ever Adult Flashlight Egg Scramble took place at Lasselle Sports Park. The Scramble was an exciting event for grown-ups, and some folks went home with prizes ranging from gift cards to TVs to a PS5!

And our Glowing Crazy Egg Hunt, a glow-in-the-dark egg hunt for kids ages 11-17, is officially at capacity. Thank you to everyone who signed up for this exciting event!

It’s no secret that we love putting on exciting events in MoVal.

Our events showcase the dedicated work our Parks & Community Services team does to bring our community together.

In fact, I’ve met people who come here from across the region because of the strong sense of unity created by our residents during these events.

And we’re just getting started!

Check out our Parks & Community Services page at moval.org/parks for the inside scoop on upcoming events throughout the year.
