2022 Election Results

The unofficial 2022 results have been updated every day since Voting Day, November 8, 2022.

As of 4:00 pm Wednesday, November 16, the Registrar of Voters of San Bernardino County estimated 85,000 mail ballots, 2,800 provisional ballots, and 1,700 other ballots that remain to be processed.

California voters cast votes for seven propositions. Your California proposition results:

State Proposition 1:

California voted Yes and supported the change in the California Constitution to expressly include existing rights to reproductive freedom- such as the right to choose whether or not to have an abortion and use contraceptives. The Yes vote won 66.3% of the vote.

State Proposition 26:

California voted No and opposed this measure to authorize the California Constitution to legalize sports betting for adults age 21 and older at Native American tribal lands and horse-racing tracks, allow roulette and dice games at tribal casinos, and impose a 10% tax on sports wagering profits at horse-racing tracks. The No vote won 68.2% of the vote.

State Proposition 27:

California voted No and opposed this measure to authorize the California Constitution to legalize online sports betting for adults age 21 and older. The No vote won 82.9% of the vote.

State Proposition 28:

California voted Yes and supported this measure that requires the state to provide additional funding specifically for arts education in public schools. This amount would be above the constitutionally required amount of funding for public schools and community colleges. The Yes vote won 63.3% of the vote.

State Proposition 29:

California voted No and opposes chronic dialysis clinics would be required to have a physician, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant on-site during all patient treatment hours. The No vote won 69.2% of the vote.

State Proposition 30:

California voted No and opposes the imposition of an additional 1.75% tax on individual income over $2 million, with proceeds going toward incentives for electric vehicles and charging infrastructure, and wildfire prevention. The No vote won 58.3% of the vote.

State Proposition 31:

California voted Yes and supports this measure that in-person stores and vending machines could not sell most flavored tobacco products and tobacco product flavor enhancers. The Yes vote won 63.3% of the vote.
