It's Open Gates for January 5, from 1 to 4pm.  This week you can meet Redlands Conservancy's founding president, Mr. Bob Clark, in person.  His sister, Jeanne, will accompany him.  Do you still have holiday guests?  Why not take them to Asistencia for a lovely afternoon!  Visit with Bob and Jeanne to learn the whole Redlands Conservancy story, stroll through the rooms and the chapel, stop at the QR code signs, point your phone at it and do what it tells you to do.  You'll learn all about Asistencia, from the pre-history times, through the mission history, the Mexican Lugo family ownership, the Mormon Church membership, the Barton ownership, to the restoration by the Works Progress Administration in the 1930s and the San Bernardino County Museum ownership.  Finally, Redlands Conservancy takes over in 2018.  You'll learn about all the opportunities you have to participate in what happens at Asistencia.  Plus, you can bring your picnic to enjoy in the courtyard.  It's all free and open to the public.  On Sunday, January 12, you can enjoy the practice jam session by Justice Chickens, Redlands Conservancy's neighborhood band.  Bring your instrument and join in.
