Veterans Wall of Freedom

The Veterans Wall of Freedom board is pleased to announce the monument is finally under construction. The Letters for the Wall of Freedom are currently being manufactured by Quick Crete Corporation in their Norco Facility. On Oct. 14, a second contractor, Act 1 Construction, will begin the construction of the footings for the monument in Pico Park. When the monument letters and the footing are completed, the monument letters will be delivered to Pico Park and mounted on the footings. The current schedule calls for this work to be completed by the end of the first week of November. On Veterans Day, Nov. 11 at 11 a.m., this newly constructed monument, the Veterans Wall of Freedom, will be unveiled as part of the Veterans Day ceremonies. All area Veterans, family of Veterans and residents are welcome to attend.
