Calimesa Community Concerts is privileged to present Jehovah Shalom Acapella's “Love In Motion.”   The Musical group entitled Jehovah Shalom Acapella; a group of 6 talented African men from Uganda will present a concert, entitled “Love In Motion” at the Calimesa SDA Church, 4th and Myrtlewood, Calimesa on Saturday afternoon, March 23 at 4:00 p.m.

This talented musical group is currently touring various parts of the United States, representing the ever expanding needs of Ishaka Adventist Hospital in Uganda, Africa.  Ishaka Adventist had its inception in 1951 under the leadership of Dr. Donald and Mildred Stilson who graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine. Mildred Stilson is currently residing in Loma Linda and just celebrated her 103rd birthday and was serenaded by the group.

The Hospital originally known as Ankole Mission Hospital continues to serve its patients and  grow in a municipality that is rapidly expanding and is now in need of better facilities and equipment to match the emerging needs of medical care in the area. In line with these needs, the group recently performed at the annual Alumni Post Graduate Convention of Loma Linda University’s School of Medicine, Dentistry and Allied Health. Admission is free and the community is cordially invited to enjoy the amazing acapella music and personal testimony of these very talented spiritual African singers.
