Deadline Coming Up to Request a School Transfer for Your Child

Parents and guardians who want their child to attend a San Bernardino City Unified School District (SBCUSD) school other than the child’s home school need to request a transfer by March 9, 2018.

“We want to give parents options,” said Ray Culberson, director of Youth Services. “While we know that all of our schools have something to offer students, we also know that not every school is the right fit for every child.”

The transfer period for the 2018–2019 school year allows parents to request a change of school while at the same time making sure SBCUSD is able to allocate the necessary staff and resources to serve all of the children attending each campus.

Call Youth Services at (909) 880-6812 to request a school transfer or for more information.
