On April 8, 2018, over 4,000 people from the Inland Empire supported the Inland Empire Ronald McDonald House by participating in ninth annual Inland Empire Walk for Kids.  The 5k walk was held at the Fontana Park to help raise funds for the House.  Not only was there the walk, there were carnival games, kid zones and a lot of food and music.

This year’s event raised more that $150,000 to support the Ronald McDonald House which is located in the city of Loma Linda and is a home for families that must travel a long way from their homes in other communities.  The House supports the families of those  children who are critically ill, and need specialize treatment for their medical condition, and they won’t turn away anyone who has the inability to pay.

The House was opened over 20 years ago and has served over 18,000 families over that time frame.  All the proceeds from the event will help those families in the Inland Empire area, and will provide lodging and food during their stay.  For more information about the Inland Empire Ronald McDonald House, search www.rmhcsc.org. Ronald McDonald House needs anyone who can help with their organization, please contact them for more information on how that can be done.
