On Wednesday, October 23, 2019, the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station Investigations Bureau conducted a warrant service operation for outstanding warrants related to domestic violence within the City of Moreno Valley. The Moreno Valley Special Enforcement Teams and the Robbery / Burglary Suppression Team assisted with this operation.  The operation was done in conjunction with other operations throughout the county, and as part of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.  A variety of warrants were served, including those for domestic battery, domestic violence, violations of court orders, battery, vandalism, assault with a deadly weapon, kidnaping, and child abuse.

The following persons were arrested:

Hector Reyes, 41 of Moreno Valley, for Spousal Battery

Mario Aguilar, 36 of Moreno Valley for Spousal Battery

Jose Cortezavila, 59 or Moreno Valley for Spousal Battery

George Fisher, 27 of Moreno Valley for Spousal Battery

Celisia Hernandez, 26 of Moreno Valley for Spousal Battery

Scott Wall, 27 of Moreno Valley for Spousal Battery

The above subjects were booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside.

National Domestic Violence Awareness Month first began in 1981 as a day of unity in which advocates could unify to provide relief to victims.  The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department and its partners offer a variety of services and assistance to victims of domestic violence to help end the cycle of abuse.  If you, or anyone you know is affected by domestic violence, and needs assistance, please contact your local law enforcement station or advocacy program or call 911 in the case of an emergency.
