Community members can submit entries every day by clicking on every ad with the sweepstakes “Bag of Money” icon on the City News Group website to win even more weekly prizes and for the chance to win the grand prize of $1,000 on December 3rd, just in time for Christmas.
Karen Rose is this week’s winner of the City News Group, Inc. $1,000 sweepstakes opportunity drawing! As this week’s winner of the weekly prize giveaway, Rose has won a dinner for two from Vicky’s Restaurant.
Rose, a resident of Redlands, is a stay-at-home mom who loves to play golf, attending outdoor concerts, plays and going to the theater. The COVID-19 pandemic has changed many aspects of Rose’s and her family’s lives.
“Covid-19 has impacted my daily life in many ways,” Rose said. “Distant learning for my daughter is challenging, restricted social activities for family, religious gathering halted and no family vacations.”
Despite the challenges her family now faces, Rose was excited to learn that she had won a gift from Vicky’s Restaurant and says she decided to enter into the sweepstakes because she wanted to try out different restaurants in her community. Rose’s first experience at Vicky’s Restaurant will surely be memorable and will have her and her family adding it to their favorites list.
