Good morning, Grand Terrace!  What a beautiful day for the Blue Mountain Festival!  This Festival is the rejuvenation of one of our time-honored traditions.

Next month, my wife and I will have lived in Grand Terrace for 40 years, and we wouldn't live any other place.  During the course of my career, I had long distance commutes from 100-mile round-trips to 165-mile round-trips and I was often asked, "why don't you move here?"

That, of course wasn't going to happen.  Grand Terrace is our very special place and the special place for all of you here today.  So have a wonderful time today and let's kick off this renewed tradition in the best way we know how and treasure our Blue Mountain city!
