COLTON>> While some people are ready for a nap after a big Thanksgiving dinner, many are getting ready to shop Black Friday specials like the one at Blue Collar Firearms, Inc. in Colton. From 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., customers can enjoy deeply discounted prices on some of the guns available at the store and will have a chance to win a free 9 millimeter Shield by Smith & Wesson. Along with the chance of winning the free gun, customers who make a $25 minimum purchase will have the chance to spin the prize wheel for a chance to also win 50 rounds of ammunition, a shooting club target, gift cards to the store, a grab bag with gun swag and more. Nicole Kinney, a partner of Blue Collar Firearms, said this will be the store's first Black Friday event and that customers have already asked about the great specials they will offer. “It’s an opportunity for them to get things at a cheap price that they have been shopping for and hopefully win some great prizes for free,” Kinney said. Blue Collar Firearms opened for business in February this year and Kinney said it was important for the business to run off of a model that is customer based. “Often in this industry, customers aren’t treated with a very high level of service so we really want to let our customers know that we appreciate that they are coming in and they are spending their hard earned money with us,” Kinney said. “Our prize wheel is a way to do that, especially with putting a free gun on there. We really appreciate and value that they come and shop here.” The Black Friday fun does not stop with the prize wheel because the store will also be selling 120 raffle tickets for a chance to win a Sig Sauer 1911, valued at $1,300. Starting on Black Friday, participants can purchase tickets for $10 and the prize winner will be drawn once all the tickets are sold. This will be the fourth and last quarterly giveaway Blue Collar Firearms will host for the year. For those who do not want to hit the streets for Black Friday, Blue Collar Firearms will also have special Cyber Monday deals that can be found on their website, www.bcfainc.com. Blue Collar Firearms, Inc. is located 1075 S Mount Vernon Ave in Colton. The store is open 7 days a week, Monday through Friday from noon - 7 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. The store is extending the hours on Black Friday to 8 p.m. For more information, call (909)777-0073.
