You Better "Watch Your B.A.C."

The Moreno Valley Police Department wishes to remind you to think before you get behind the wheel.

MORENO VALLEY >> The Moreno Valley Police Department, in cooperation with a local business, recently conducted an educational program about the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol. One goal of the program, titled “Watch Your B.A.C.,” was to educate patrons about how each drink affected their level of intoxication. With the cooperation of Buffalo Wild Wings, officers were allowed inside the establishment and voluntary alcohol screening tests were offered to patrons. After the tests, information regarding their level of intoxication and possible impairment were given to the patrons. The operation was conducted between 6:00 P.M. and 10:00 P.M., and a total of 12 people participated in the event. Through its cooperation with this program, Buffalo Wild Wings has shown their commitment to the safety of their patrons and the community. The Moreno Valley Police Department wishes to remind you that if you choose to drink alcoholic beverages, please designate a sober driver before getting into a vehicle. Funding for this program is provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Crime is Dropping in San Bernardino County

Photo Caption: Crime in San Bernardino has dropped by 30 percent or more throughout the city. One reason is that there are more officers on the streets. The Police Department’s goal is to have 350 sworn officers. Current full-time staffing is reported at 295 sworn officers and 156 professional staff.
