Suspect Arrested in Recent Homicide

Robert Holley was identified as a suspect in the murder Jasper Vault. Holley was located in the City of Colton and arrested. On 8/9/18 Holley was booked into the San Bernardino County Jail for PC 187(a)-Murder. The case will be submitted to the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office.

On 8/7/18 at approximately 3:42 P.M. the Colton Police Department received call in reference to a shooting and a possible victim inside of a vehicle. When officers arrived at the location they discovered an adult male, mid-twenties suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. Colton Fire Department arrived on scene and pronounced the victim deceased. Weapon used is believed to be a handgun. The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The investigation is being conducted by the Colton Police Detective Division with assistance from the San Bernardino Sheriff's Crime Scene Investigations.
