15th Annual War Dog Event

March Field Air Museum presented the 15th Annual War Dog Event, on Saturday Feb. 21, honoring and remembering our canine heroes and their handlers that have served our nation. The event is free to the public and will take place in front of the West Coast National War Dog Memorial in the courtyard of the March Field Air Museum. The guest speaker was Gunnery Sergeant Chris Willingham, USMC Camp Pendleton. Remarks were made by Col. Russell Muncy, Commander March ARB, District Attorney Mike Hestrin County of Riverside and Riverside Police Chief Sergio Diaz. A K-9 demonstration from event Camp Pendleton and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department followed the ceremony.
