Auto Club Speedway announced today the launch of “The Fastest Sunday of the Year” advertising campaign to promote the upcoming Monster Energy Cup Series Auto Club 400 race on March 18, 2018. The new campaign highlights the emotion, adrenaline and thrilling experiences that fans will encounter at NASCAR’S only stop in Southern California.

The Monster Energy NASCAR Auto Club 400 is often described by attendees as sensory overload…the ability to touch the start/finish line before the green flag waves; the smell of festival food fare; hearing the roar of race cars going over 200 mph; the taste of victory; and of course, great people watching.

The creative pushes familiar visual attributes by focusing on the five senses to trigger emotions tied to all that “The Fastest Sunday of the Year” has to offer including concerts, stunt shows, Lefty’s Fun Zone, vendor activations and motorsport programming.

“This campaign drives our continued efforts to connect and inform the consumer about race day experiences in a creative and compelling way,” said Dave Allen, President of Auto Club Speedway.

The ad campaign incorporates vivid colors and a font selection that speaks to the action and speed of the Auto Club 400. The integrated campaign will include broadcast, radio, outdoor, print, digital and social media components.

The campaign was created in conjunction with cross-cultural marketing agency, Sensis, to connect with its current fan base, while peeking the interest of new audiences yet to attend one of the largest sporting events in Southern California.
