REDLANDS >> The 7th Downtown Redlands Art Walk on Sunday April 24th in Ed Hales Park is a biannual event paring local business involvement and arts movement. The Art Walk is a community centric event dedicated to increase community involvement and artistic inspirations. Over 125 local artists flood to the event to represent their art works and gain recognitions. Food, craft beers, and shops bring together the visitors the best Downtown Redlands experience. Live entertainments include music performances and free activities like finger paintings and chalk drawings. A local fitness studio also bring their gymnastics equipment to the Art Walk and offers live performances to engage with the visitors. "Such visual experience helps the locals to acknowledge our works as a form of art that everyone can be involved in, it is for anybody with ANY BODY" said Karen Castle, the owner of American Acrobats Performance and Fitness. "We want to represent the City of Redlands, the locals' interests, and to get as many people involved and inspired as possible. Art is for everybody, there is no age limit and anyone can do it. I think the Art Walk is getting bigger and better every time. There are all kinds of artistic creativity and expressions here. The more you express yourself, the better." said Danielle Trynoski, the Chair of the City of Redlands Cultural Arts Commission.
