Mom passed peacefully on May 22, 2013. Born in Plainview, Texas, she was a longtime resident of Grand Terrace, CA. Mom was active in her community both as a member of the Grand Terrace Women’s Club and helping with the Grand Terrace Lions Club where her late husband Ray Munson was a longtime member. Mom worked for Secure Horizons, where she earned the title of Ambassador. Mom loved spending time with her family of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed playing cards and cribbage with her “Ray.” Mom had many friends in the Grand Terrace community and enjoyed their “Come On Down” get-togethers on Friday or Saturday evenings. One of Mom’s favorite treats was a “Texas Coke” (a large Coke from McDonalds). Mom is survived by her son Michael and his wife Susan, daughter Jill and her husband Craig, grandchildren Megan, Amanda, Michael Ray and Joshua, great-grandchildren Danielle and Lena, sister Mickey and nieces Charlotte and Christina. Interment was private. We love you, Mom, and you’ll forever be in our hearts.
