A Legacy of Customer Service and Integrity

America's Tire Company out of Scottsdale AZ has close to a thousand stores. Outside of the state of California and in parts of San Diego County they are known as Discount Tire Company.

The company was founded by Bruce Halle in 1960, Mr. Halle passed away at the beginning of this year. However, his legacy of great customer service lives on.

Recently, a discerning customer chose America's Tire Company to replace two tires on his Ford F-150. Having had a previous bad experience with a different tire company located in Upland, Chris Huebbe took his time in researching local tire companies.

Huebbe was looking for quality, service, integrity, and price. The previous company had damaged his expensive alloy wheels, and they lacked the integrity to make it right. Huebbe met with the manager of Colton's America's Tire Company, Joseph Ninete, and shared his previous bad experience. Ninete assured Huebbe that the quality of their workmanship would not damage Mr. Huebbe's wheels.

Ninete has been the manager of the Colton store for 2 1/2 years and has been with the company for 20 years. So when in fact the alloy wheels were damaged, Ninete was surprised because his crew does quality work and takes great care to get the job right. But, on this rare occasion the customer was not completely satisfied.

"Our company values our customers and our employees. The most important thing is the safety of our customers. The business culture that was passed down from our founder is integrity first and in this particular case the customers wheels were immaculate and since we spoke of his previous bad experience in advance I felt bad. I told my assistant manager Paul just take care of it." shared Ninete.

Huebbe felt that he was treated fairly and received customer service worthy of special recognition and decided to bring this story to the City News Group's attention. "Service was A+, and price was the best, even up against Sam's Club" said Huebbe "when the situation occurred they didn't skip a beat, they just took care of it."

"Paul [the assistant manager] said to me the most important thing is that you're happy and you're safe driving on your new tires." Said Huebbe. He continued, "to me customer service is everything, and that is what I received here."

America's Tire Store is located 2099 E. Washington, Colton CA 92324. You can reach Joseph Ninete at 909-430-0310.

If you or someone you know has received customer service above and beyond contact City News Group at 909-370-1300.
