Serrano Middle School Patriot Day

Serrano Middle School is holding its Third Annual First Responder event on Patriot Day and National Day of Service and Remembrance, Sept. 11, at 11 a.m. The annual event honors local first responders for their dedication in protecting the residents of Highland and San Bernardino. It is held on Patriot Day as a reminder of the selflessness and bravery of all first responders, as evidenced by the life-saving actions of first responders during the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. Serrano students and staff will recognize representatives of the San Bernardino City Unified School District Police Department; Highland Fire Department, Station 2; Highland Sheriff’s Department; San Bernardino City Fire Department, Station 228; San Manuel Fire Department; and San Bernardino Police Department. Serrano Middle School is located at 3131 Piedmont Drive in Highland.
