Country Fair a Big Success for GT Woman's Club

The 43rd Annual Country Fair was a great success for the Grand Terrace Woman's Club and we are looking forward to the upcoming Trunk Or Treat to help fund our program "Christmas For Children", as well as upcoming Bingo events. We will have a booth at Light Up Grand Terrace and will be having some amazing Opportunity baskets for you to buy tickets and take home a prize!! Any businesses that might be interested in becoming a sponsor for our 2nd Annual Silent Auction, please contact Mary Wilson, 3rd V.P. / Fundraising Chair, at 840-228-8880 or email to gtwomansclub@gmail.com

 

Come join us at our monthly meetings every 3rd Wednesday from 11am-2pm to learn more about our club and what we do. Make sure to call ahead for lunch reservations by contacting the number above. We have a great time planning events and doing reach out within the community. 

 

On September 28th we also collected snacks for the seniors at the Grand Terrace Senior Villas for our National Day of Service.

According to the latest data available from Feeding America’s Map the Meal Gap study, 48 million people, including more than 14 million children, experienced food insecurity in 2024, the highest level since 2014. Of the communities FARSB serves, we see food insecurity range from a low of 13.8% in Riverside County to a high of 15.6% in San Bernardino County.
