ARMC Gets in Shape for 9th Annual 5K Walk/Run and Fitness Expo

Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) will host its 9th Annual 5K Walk/Run & Fitness Expo on Saturday, March 28. On-site registration/check-in starts at 7 a.m., and the Walk/Run starts at approximately 8:30 a.m. This free event is part of the effort by ARMC and the County of San Bernardino to achieve the Countywide Vision. Improving the community’s health creates a better quality of life and contributes to better schools, better jobs, and a vibrant economy. The 5K (3.1 mile) route begins at ARMC at 400 North Pepper Avenue in Colton, and loops through local streets east of the Medical Center so that participants return and finish in front of the hospital. An awards presentation will take place as participants return from the route. All participants are asked to please leave pets at home. Registration is free, and interested participants may sign up at www.arrowheadmedcenter.org. The event is sponsored by County of San Bernardino; Inland Empire Health Plan; The Inland Empire 66ers; First 5 San Bernardino; The City of Colton; Colton Community Services; American Medical Response; Sunkist; Gallagher’s; HealthBridge Children's Hospital; Arrowhead Mountain Spring Water and Nestlé Waters North America; Arrowhead Credit Union; Republic Services; Rightway; SBPEA; P&R Paper Supply Company, Inc.; Infinity Timing; KOLA; Inland Empire Community Newspapers; The San Bernardino Sun; The Press-Enterprise; City News Group, Inc.; Century Group Newspapers; The Valley Messenger; and Lazer Broadcasting.
