GTHS Athlete of the Week Alyssa Graham

This week’s GTHS student athlete is Alyssa Graham. Alyssa is a senior this year carrying a 3.8 GPA. She plays on GT’s Varsity Softball team, and has been playing softball since the age of 7.

Her athletic and academic accomplishments include: Redlands All-Tournament, CBAADA Female athlete of the year, 2 years First Team All-League, 1 year Second Team All-League, Ken Hubbs Nominee, CIF Champion, CIF Finalist, and 2 years as a Scholar Athlete.

She plans to continue her softball career playing for San Jose State University, while majoring in Nursing. Alyssa attributes her motivation to her family and a personal desire to be the best player she can be. She quotes one of baseball’s greats, “I love it when people doubt me. It makes me work harder to prove them wrong” – Derrick Jeter.  Alyssa also enjoys hanging out with friends. Congratulations Alyssa, keep up the outstanding work!
