Creative prosperity for the Inland Empire and beyond is more than a hope and dream for John Payan, a local author, amateur actor, and founder of HOLLYWOOD EAST Studios and Artistry. Payan is proposing a concept and opportunity for anyone who has a desire to express their artistic creativity, from acting to fashion. This includes the least appreciated known and unknown artists, the rejected, lost and lonely, ignored, ill and those with special needs. HOLLYWOOD EAST will be committed to helping non-established and established artists and families. This dedication is and will be the heart and soul of HOLLYWOOD EAST. HOLLYWOOD EAST will be a new industry, and will research, create, develop and establish new ideas and opportunities, and will maintain valued foundations that will flourish the future with creative artistry, prosperity and exuberant life. HOLLYWOOD EAST will value and utilize the expertise of those involved in its development and future. Beyond acting and writing, Payan directs and produces various comedy and drama projects. "I love my kids, music, working out, drawing, painting and creative artistry. I believe kids and the lives we sometimes neglect are essential to creating a new industry for artists that resides in every life," he said. Payan has been employed with the San Bernardino City Fire Department since 1988, as a firefighter, paramedic, currently holding the rank of captain. He also has several years of experience in various law enforcement capacities, and plans to use his experience with HOLLYWOOD EAST.
