Badger Springs Principal Jason Barney, Assistant Principal Ruby Mejico, ELA Coach/EL Specialist Michelle Ventura, and Superintendent Dr. Martinrex Kedziora recently shared the successes at Badger Springs with the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) Leadership Summit.

The conference session covered how Badger Springs Middle School took a look in the mirror to identify the reasons why student success was limited. Instead of pointing fingers, teachers and staff have taken on a new mindset to affect change.

North Ridge Principal Dr. Casaundra McNair also presented on the topics of transformative leadership, equity and social emotional learning.

The Leadership Summit provided professional development to school administrators and gave MVUSD leaders a chance to network and learn about current leadership and educational issues.
