Mayor's Weekly Message 48

Dear Moreno Valley Residents:

Celebrate the holiday season by joining the City of Moreno Valley at our annual Snow Day and Holiday Tree Lighting this Saturday, December 8.

We are bringing in 65 tons of snow to the Conference and Recreation Center. That’s plenty of snow to build snowmen, make snow angels, throw snow balls and sled!

The Little Elves Tot Lot is for children ages 5 and younger, and Santa’s Snow Sled Runs are for children ages 6 through 12. Sessions are 45 minutes – for just $6.

Snow sessions run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

There will also be plenty of live entertainment, bounce houses, Santa’s Village, face painting and more! Local food vendors will also be on hand selling delicious food throughout the day.

The festivities will be capped off by our Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony featuring musical performances by Moreno Valley children – and a special visit from Santa.

Free hot chocolate and cookies will be provided. And there will be plenty of opportunities to take pictures with Santa.
