Sweepstakes Winner, Virginia Gonzalez

Virginia Gonzalez is this week’s winner of the sweepstakes giveaway! As this week’s winner of the weekly prize giveaway, Gonzalez has won a gracious gift card provided by local business, The Grooming Machine.

Gonzalez earned this week’s prize by submitting an online entry form on the City News Group website. At absolutely no purchase necessary, Gonzalez comes up with the big win of this week’s prize as well as an opportunity to win the grand prize on December third of $1,000! And so can you!

“While having brunch I picked up the local city newspaper and saw the advertisement and decided to take an opportunity and enter the sweepstakes and the rest is history,” Gonzalez said.

This week’s winner is a part-time essential worker who loves gardening, making succulent arrangements, crafting, volunteering in her community and spending time with her one and only granddaughter. When the pandemic hit, Gonzalez’ life was truly altered, but she found a silver lining.  

“Covid-19 has impacted my daily life but it has brought much awareness both good and bad,” Gonzalez said. “On the brighter side, it has made my bond stronger my family and neighbors.”
