The Moreno Valley Police Department is now accepting American flags for proper destruction. When a flag becomes worn, tattered, faded, or soiled it should be disposed of properly. Residents can bring their worn, tattered, faded or soiled flags to the Moreno Valley Police Department between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. The flags will be collected and taken to Riverside National Cemetery for proper disposal.
