As Grand Terrace embarks on important development projects, it’s crucial to have experienced leadership on the City Council. I have served our community for six years as a council member and previously nearly five years on the Planning Commission. I am well-versed in our city’s needs and future plans.

I have the knowledge of where we as a city have been… almost losing our cityhood and what it took to save it. I also know where we intend to go, and I have been a part of helping to get us there. I understand what it will take. I have already been though the learning curve of what it takes to govern a City. Please consider the institutional knowledge I have obtained over the years. I remember how difficult it was to catch up to others on the council who already had the knowledge. Maintaining continuity in leadership will help ensure that our goals as a City are met effectively.

"I am dedicated to Grand Terrace where my wife Bernadette and I chose to make our home more than 25 years ago. I have been quietly active in many of the City events and projects I have been actively involved in key initiatives like the Barton Road Specific Plan and the Gateway to Grand Terrace project. I am also committed to completing the Walkable Michigan Street Corridor and Canal Crossing Projects. These developments are essential for our city’s economic growth and overall improvement.

My goal is to see these projects through to completion, ensuring their success. Working together I know my knowledge and dedication are vital as we move forward with these projects.

Re-electing me, Jeff Allen to the City Council means keeping a committed advocate for our community at the decision-making table. Please support a proven leader who knows our city well and is ready to see these plans through.
