Jayden Rivas is 16 years old and currently a Junior at Grand Terrace High School. He is an outstanding student who excels in both academics and athletics. Despite his busy schedule, he remains focused on balancing school and sports.

Jayden has been playing baseball for 13 years, starting at the age of 3 years old. As a right-handed pitcher, he also covers 1st base, 3rd base, and outfield position. In addition to baseball, Jayden has been a key player on the GTHS football team for two years, playing as an offensive tackle and defensive end.

In his free time, Jayden enjoys traveling and improving himself through regular gym sessions. One of his proudest accomplishments has been traveling across the nation to compete in showcases and tournaments for both baseball and football.

When asked about his motivation, Jayden credits his grandfather, saying, “My grandfather has been a father figure and role model in my life. From football and baseball to God and life itself, he has guided me through it all.”

Looking ahead, Jayden’s goals include winning championships for Grand Terrace High School in both football and baseball, continuing to excel in the classroom and the weight room, and earning a scholarship to further his education and athletic career so that he can help take care of his family.

A quote that inspires Jayden comes from Ecclesiastes 11:4 (ERV): “But there are some things that you cannot be sure of. You must take a chance. If you wait for perfect weather, you will never plant your seeds. If you are afraid that every cloud will bring rain, you will never harvest your crops.”

Jayden gives all glory to the Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, recognizing him as the source of his strength and guidance.

We wish Jayden, all the best in his future endeavors—the best is yet to come for this Titan!
