East Valley Water District (District) welcomes Jeff Noelte to the Director of Engineering and Operations position. Noelte joins the District with 22 years of experience in the water industry as an engineer and operator in the public and private sectors.

“Mr. Noelte’s expertise in the water industry will be instrumental for managing the District’s capital improvement program,” said John Mura, General Manager/CEO. “His vast experience in wastewater will certainly be an asset for the operation of the new Sterling Natural Resource Center.”

As Director of Engineering and Operations, Noelte will manage the District’s capital improvement program (CIP), evaluate water and wastewater system improvement needs, oversee new development in the water system infrastructure, and update the Wastewater Model to identify wastewater service areas within the District.

“I am proud to join East Valley Water District and appreciative of the opportunity to serve the community through the management of projects that impact customers’ quality of life,” said Mr. Noelte.

Noelte has a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from UC Riverside, and a Master's and PhD in Environmental Engineering from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). In addition, Noelte is a licensed civil engineer, Board Certified Environmental Engineer, and is certified as a Grade 5 wastewater treatment operator. Prior to his recent role as a principal engineer at a private engineering firm, he served as the Manager of Technical Services at Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA). Noelte and his wife have two teenage children.
