At the main library on Wednesday, April 16th at 3 p.m. local musician Craig Newton will be demonstrating and engaging participants in learning over ten different instruments and related music. On Thursday, April 17th at 3:30 p.m. at the Luque Branch Library, local magician Joey will present a family-friendly and engaging magic show. On Friday, April 18th from 4 to 10 p.m., the Main Library will be presenting its semi-annual Book 2 Movie Night. The event includes outdoor community information booths, giveaways and a screening of the recent blockbuster Man of Steel at dusk. All library events are completely free of charge and do not require registration. National Library Week concludes on Saturday, April 19th with the Friends of the Colton Public Library annual book sale to be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Main Library. The Friends is a non-profit community group that supports library programs and events with the proceeds from this book sale and the ongoing sale area located at the main library.
