ALL>> The San Bernardino-Loma Linda Crossroads Rotary Club is now accepting nominations for the 2017 High Ethics in Business Award.

The Rotary Ethics in Business Award program seeks to honor Inland Empire businesspersons for maintaining high ethical standards while running their successful enterprises and adhering to the Rotary Four-Way Test of the things we think, say or do: Is it the truth; is it fair to all concerned; will it build good will and better friendships; will it be beneficial to all concerned?

Qualified candidates will adhere to the high ethical standards of honesty, integrity, and consistency in dealing with employees, contractors, and customers, while positively enhancing the economic well-being of the business and community.

Candidates will also participate in activities beneficial to the community beyond provision of economic benefits and exceed fair and truthful principles of business practice reflected in the Rotary 4-Way Test.

Nominees must also be a San Bernardino or Riverside County business owner.

Awards will be given out June 7.

Candidates wishing to nominate someone must be ready to describe the integrity of their nominee and provide examples. They must also be ready to describe their nominees business and objective goals.

Honesty and integrity is a large component of this award and those who nominate someone must be ready to describe how their choice demonstrates these qualities.

Examples of the social initiative taken by the company must also be described, as well as any policy the company has that goes towards implementing it.

Nominations must be submitted by May 26, to Art Gallardo at gallardoarthur@gmail.com.
