Mayor's Message: Beautify MoVal

Dear Moreno Valley Residents,

As we continue Moreno Valley’s safe reopening, many of us cannot wait to get outside!

Our public parks and spaces not only promote healthy lives, they reveal a lot about who we are as a community. That is why since becoming Mayor, I have been on a mission to not only keep our city beautiful, but enhance our parks, trails and public spaces, and better reflect our values and extraordinary resilience.

On Saturday, May 8th, from 8am – 12pm, we can Beautify MoVal together. This upcoming Community Day of Service is a perfect way for families and neighbors to safely get together and get outside. I’ll be joined by residents, members of the City Council and City-employee volunteers, to roll up our sleeves with other volunteers in service to our great city.

Interested? Join us at City Hall for coffee and pastries at 8:00 a.m. From there we’ll head out to make a beautiful difference for Moreno Valley. All you need to do is show up.

From the outset of the pandemic, the residents of our city have shown extraordinary care and resilience. Now, as we continue vaccinations and safely reopen, we can look to make our mark on the City’s future. From my view, it is looking bright and absolutely beautiful.

To sign-up for our upcoming Community Day of Service, visit www.moval.org/beautify and Let’s Beautify MoVal Together.
