The story of Southern California’s fastest-growing travel destination is colorfully presented in the new Greater Ontario Visitors Guide, available now at locations throughout the region.

The Guide is produced by Greater Ontario California (GOCAL), formerly the Greater Ontario Convention & Visitors Bureau, and offers an 82-page guided tour of the region’s world-class entertainment, recreational, hospitality, and shopping amenities.

“Greater Ontario is at the heart of all that you want to experience in Southern California,” said Michael Krouse, president, and CEO of GOCAL, the Inland Empire’s premier travel and tourism organization. “It’s a place where you can enjoy hiking, skiing, fishing, or biking in our scenic mountains during the day, then dive into the diverse culinary scene and live entertainment in the evening. The great outdoors and metropolitan areas blend seamlessly for a perfect getaway.”

The Greater Ontario Visitors Guide features stories, calendars, and photography from across Greater Ontario, which has emerged as an international destination, attracting visitors from around the world. In addition to its abundant natural amenities, the region offers 6,000 hotel rooms, a wide variety of great restaurants reflecting Greater Ontario’s cultural diversity, the fastest-growing airport in the United States (Ontario International), and such popular venues as Toyota Arena, the Ontario Convention Center, Lewis Family Playhouse and Ontario Mills mall.

The hospitality industry now ranks among the region’s top economic drivers, employing more than 180,000 people across the Inland Empire and generating billions of dollars in visitor spending.
