The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) has designated  Sean Flynn as the first California candidate this cycle to reach the second level of the highly selective “Young Guns” program.

“Young Guns” candidates have met a series of rigorous goals and surpassed program benchmarks to establish a clear path to victory, our support ensures that CA-31 will be a battleground district in 2018,” said Congressman Steve Stivers, the head of the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC),

“My top priority is jobs. We are going to create more jobs in California by becoming business friendly,’ said Flynn.  “We are going to grow our small businesses, our medium sized businesses and our big businesses.  We are going to cut the useless red tape that stifles business growth and empower San Bernardino County businesses to create more and better jobs,” said Flynn.

The NRCC, has already announced their support for Flynn’s race against Pete Aguilar in the 31st Congressional District in April 2018.

“On Fox News’ The Daily Briefing show on Wednesday, June 7, Congressman Stivers said, “Congressman Pete Aguillar, a democratic incumbent, got less votes than Sean Flynn in his race yesterday. So that's going to be a major target for us now.”  Congressman Stivers added that, “Pete Aguillar, you know, showed his weakness in finishing second as a sitting incumbent,” said Flynn.

Congressional Representatives Paul Cook (CA-08), Ed Royce (CA-39), Ken Calvert (CA-42), and Mimi Walters (CA-45) also endorsed Sean Flynn in his run for California’s 31st Congressional District.

Flynn has secured additional major endorsements from: State Senator Mike Morrell; San Bernardino County Supervisors Curt Hagman, Robert Lovingood, and Janice Rutherford.

The 31st District includes all or portions of Upland, Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, San Bernardino, Highland, Redlands, Loma Linda, Grand Terrace, Colton, and Rialto.

Flynn is the best-selling author of Economics for Dummies. He is also coauthor of the world’s best-selling college economics textbook, Economics: Principles, Problems, and Policies.  An avid martial arts enthusiast, Flynn is a former U.S. National Aikido Forms Champion and coach.  Flynn is single and lives in Redlands.

The General Election is on Tuesday, November 6.
