A first-of-its-kind program to honor graduates from charter schools in Riverside County recognized 12 students from 9 charter school programs on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at the Riverside County Office of Education Conference Center.

“For many years, charter schools in Riverside County have been graduating exceptional scholars into elite universities and local colleges while providing well-prepared students to support the local workforce,” said Riverside County Superintendent of Schools Dr. Edwin Gomez. “Through the new Exceptional Scholar Awards, we are proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of charter school graduates who have demonstrated academic excellence, perseverance, and leadership.”

Students, educators, and families were present at the event that honored the hard work and dedication that have shaped the academic success of the graduates. Honorees were recognized for their resilience, character, and limitless potential in preparation for the next chapter of their journey.
