School leaders say Honey Cooper's remarkable achievement is opening doors and expanding what young students believe is possible. Kimbark Elementary Principal Brittany Zuniga described the accomplishment as “extremely rare,” praising Honey for “paving the way” and proving that extraordinary opportunities can begin much earlier than many imagine.

Even with college classes on her schedule, Honey still holds the same big dreams many kids her age do. She imagines a future where she might become an artist, a fashion designer, or even a surgeon. Beyond academics, she embraces a full and vibrant childhood—participating in theater, diving into books she loves, and spending meaningful time with friends and family. Her mother says that balance has always been key, ensuring Honey continues to grow socially while reaching incredible academic milestones.

Honey credits her family’s constant encouragement for helping her reach this moment. “They always encourage me to try my best,” she said. “And now that I never gave up on my dream, I am now here… being a college student and an elementary student.”

Through her journey, Honey hopes to inspire others to believe in their own potential. Her message to other students is simple but powerful: “Anyone can do what I’m doing right now.”
