Deputies Arrest Two Suspects in San Bernardino

SAN BERNARDINO>> On March 14, 2017 at approximately 2:18 a.m., Deputy L. Sandoval conducted a traffic stop at University Parkway and Hallmark Parkway, and discovered a vehicle that was reported stolen out of San Bernardino. Additional deputies arrived, conducted a felony traffic stop and took two male subjects into custody. The males were identified as Ernie Mesta and Leslie Johnson. Johnson is currently on Post Release Community Supervision for possession of stolen property and had a no bail warrant for not reporting in for probation. Mesta and Johnson were both arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle and booked into Central Detention Center. Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact Central station at (909)387-3545.
