Theater Presents Educational Musical “Alexander Graham Bell” For Schools

REDLANDS>> LifeHouse Theater announces a field trip opportunity for teachers desiring a local experience for their students that showcase historic events through theater arts. The popular “LifeTales” Educational Musical will be presenting the first of our educational musicals during the 2016-17 school year. “Alexander Graham Bell,” will be presented the weekday mornings of Oct. 4-7 at 9:15 a.m. and 11 a.m. at the theater located in Redlands. The production follows inventor Alexander Graham Bell’s adventures as a youthful discoverer of scientific wonders. When he marries a charming deaf woman, their relationship leads to the invention of the telephone. The musical combines comedy, romance and powerful drama for an theater experience offering educational insights. A curriculum guide for teachers is also available. All seats are priced at $9 and can be purchased online at www.boxoffice.lifehousetheater.com. Tickets can also be reserved over the phone by calling 335-3037. Checks can also be mailed to LifeHouse, provided reservations are made far enough in advance. Tickets may also be purchased in person at the box office, which is open Fridays from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and one hour prior to performance times on the weekends. Teachers are encouraged to reserve tickets early as seats are limited. All performances will be presented at the LifeHouse Theater. A comprehensive free curriculum guide is available to teachers who reserve seats for their classes of any size. Performances are also open to the general public as space permits. “Alexander Graham Bell” features Jay Patterson as Alexander Graham Bell, Karisa Harriman as Mabel and Nate Wilson as Thomas Watson. The musical also features the talents of Peter Rajca, Cove Manson, Sage Manson, Dori Lou Hathaway, Rich Lampe, Nick Diliberto, Elisabeth Parish, Rebeckah Parish, Deanna Parish, Caeleigh Brame, Catherine Brame, Alyssa Monsma and Sophia Mills. Two additional LifeTales productions will be offered during this school year. Winter sees the musical production of “Jackie Robinson” on the mornings of Feb. 21-24, 2017 and Spring brings “Clara Barton of the Red Cross” on the mornings of April 25-28, 2017. Tickets are currently available for both these productions.
