The Inland Empire 66ers presented a check for $12,250 to Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital, representing proceeds from a recent golf tournament. Joe Hudson, Inland Empire 66ers general manager, presented the check to LLUCH representatives on Aug. 22 at the end of the third inning of the 66ers vs. Bakersfield Blaze game at the San Manuel Stadium in San Bernardino. “The Inland Empire 66ers are very proud to continue to support Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital and the incredible things they do for our community’s children,” Hudson said. The Inland Empire 66ers have donated over $85,000 to LLUCH over the past 11 years. The most recent donation, which will be used to meet the greatest needs at the hospital, was raised during the 66ers Baseball 11th Annual Golf Tournament held Aug. 12 at Arrowhead Country Club. “Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital is blessed to have benefited from the longtime support and generosity of the Inland Empire 66ers to meet our common goal of giving the best treatment and care for our children,” LLUCH Administrator Zareh Sarrafian said.
