As a mother, there is a certain feeling of vulnerability while driving with my toddler on the freeway.  There is the constant fear of car accidents, bad drivers, dangerous weather conditions, and a laundry list of other scary factors that are completely out of my hands.  I, like many other people, have no idea of how to change a tire.  I can tell you with absolute certainty that if I were armed with just that one important piece of knowledge I would feel so much better about driving on our crazy California roads.

Felix Automotive, located in San Bernardino, is doing something absolutely amazing for women like me.  They are putting on a three-part Workshop for Women, teaching us incredibly important automotive skills so that we don’t have to worry as much when we experience potentially dangerous automotive situations.  I am beyond excited about this.  It is an unfortunate reality that we, as women, sometimes get taken advantage of in stressful situations, like when we take our cars in to get repaired and get overcharged because they think we don’t know any better.  This is real.  This DOES happen.  But because of Felix Automotive, we can gain some independence and some serious knowledge so that this no longer happens.

Throughout this workshop series, Felix Automotive will be teaching everything from technical terms and meanings to how to change your tire.  The first Workshop for Women will be held on March 15, 2018 at 6:00 p.m.  Don’t let the name fool you, Men are also welcome at the workshops and are encouraged to attend.  Food and beverages will be provided, and attendees will also be sent home with useful giftbags.  All workshops will be held at Felix Automotive, located at 2230 Cabrera Ave.  San Bernardino, CA 92411.
