On April 5th, the Grand Terrace Little League held their annual opening ceremony celebration.
The event, held at Pico Park, provided an environment for family and friends to gather and cheer on their little ones playing on the team.
The ceremony began with the national anthem and the teams' baseball pledge. All 29 teams were announced along with the managers in charge of the teams. Dressed in their uniforms, members stood by their teams throughout the ceremony.
Prizes were also given out as well as a $25 gift card to the player that won the Little League Baseball logo contest. Some took advantage of the large crowds and sold food such as tacos, pizza, and pozole. After the event, many celebrated their excitement for a great baseball season by taking pictures and eating out with their teams.
