It's a Win for Tarheel Nation!

Congratulations, to the Tarheel Nation AAU Basketball Program! Young men and lady ranging in age from 10-14 years-old, attended the Jam on It Grand Finale in Las Vegas, Nevada July 19-21 2019. The 11U placed 2nd, and the 12U brought home the Championship for their bracket. 

13U received consolation and 14U also brought home the Championship for their bracket. Tarheel Nation founded and directed by Charles Mathews, is part of the Grand Terrace community and holds practice at Grand Terrace High School. The coaching staff, volunteer their time unselfishly each week. Many of the players are student athletes and will attend Terrace Hills Middle School and Grand Terrace High School. Orie Benjamin IV, who attends Terrace Hills Middle School received the Game Changer Star for his 12U age bracket. 

Div 11U: Christian Benjamin, Rylee Holmes, Janelle Smith, Taj Smith, Troy Coleman, Emmanuel Jim-George, Aidan Gulley, London Towns, and Amari Reynolds.

Div 12U: Orie Benjamin, Kenneth Hutchinson, Jamyl Hariri, Dylan Quinonez, Damian Torres, and Athan Mayoral.

Div 13U: Eddie Hernandez, Daniel Jim-George, Tristan Doty, Davien Brickhouse, Anthony Harriel, and Arnez Reynolds.

Div 14U: Abraham Jim-George, Alejandro Fregoso, Shann Paterson Jr, Jamiir Jackson, Jonathan Rodriquez, Akhiijeet Sura, and Troy Barbarin.

Congratulations to each of the players of Tarheel Nation, you have made family, friends, and the city proud of your accomplishments!
