Sinfonia Mexicana and the Mariachi Academy are pleased to present Fiesta Navidad Mariachi Concert: Celebrating Family and Community on December 18, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at the Sturges Center for Fine Arts at 780 N. E St., San Bernardino.
In the spirit of giving and gratitude for over 35 years of community support, all tickets are $10 general admission and may be purchased online at www.eventbrite.com. Tickets will also be sold at the door beginning at 11:30 am before the concert. The doors open at 12:30 pm, and the concert begins at 1:00. Mariachi Internacional de México de Francisco Jara returns to the stage by popular demand accompanied by Grupo Folklorico Arte Cultura Tradición. Mariachi Academy graduate Gabby Gaxiola, now a member of Mariachi Divas, will also perform.
Fiesta Navidad is also a celebration of the return of the Mariachi Academy. Founded in 2009 by visionaries dedicated to improving the lives of youth through music education, the Academy will begin new classes in January. Students with music experience as well as beginners without a music background are welcome.
