Mayor's Weekly Message 86

Dear Moreno Valley Residents,

Providing helpful services and enjoyable recreation opportunities for families and youth is an important city priority. One of those fun and helpful community events is this Saturday, September 7, and I hope you can bring the kids to Moreno Valley’s annual YouthFest at TownGate Memorial Park.

YouthFest is a FREE event, and a great opportunity for families to find out about youth-specific community resources and programs – and have fun while doing it! Enjoy a variety of food vendors, youth performances, Police and Fire vehicle displays, face painting, games, opportunity drawings, and lots of activities for children of all ages. And learn more about City Recreation Programs, Library Services, Child Care, Kid-Oriented Businesses, Sports Teams and Leagues, Medical and Dental Services and more.

There’s a lot that goes into building and sustaining a healthy community, and fun, family-friendly events are an important part of it. So I hope to see you at YouthFest this Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at TownGate Memorial Park, 13051 Elsworth St.  It’s a fantastic way to spend quality time with the whole family!
