Free Workshops to Provide Social Media, Human Resource Training

ALL>> The San Bernardino County Workforce Development Board will host a series of free workshops for businesses in the county in the coming weeks, focusing on social media marketing and human resource management. The social media workshops will cover topics ranging from best practices on Facebook to execution of social media tasks to online analytics and growing your network with LinkedIn. The human resource workshops will cover topics ranging from wages to hiring and investigations. The social media workshop “How to use Analytics in Social Media” will be held Sept. 29 from 10 a.m.- 12 p.m. at East Valley America’s Job Center of California, located at 658 E. Brier Drive #100 in San Bernardino, CA 92408. “Effective Use of Social Media: A Hands on Approach” will be held Oct. 13 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, located at 3200 Inland Empire Blvd., Suite 130 in Ontario, CA 91764. "How to Use Your Personal Network to Grow Your Business on LinkedIn” will be held Nov. 10 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, located at 3200 Inland Empire Blvd., Suite 130 in Ontario, CA 91764. Online registration is now open at https://socialmediaworkshops2016.eventbrite.com. For the human resource training workshops, one titled “Wage and Hour Update” will be held Sept. 15 from 10 a.m.- 12 p.m. at the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, located at 3200 Inland Empire Blvd., Suite 130 in Ontario, CA 91764. “Hiring Right the First Time” will be held Oct. 27 from 10 a.m.- 12 p.m. at the High Desert America’s Job Center of California, located at 17310 Bear Valley Road, Suite 109 Victorville, CA 92395. Lastly, “He Said/She Said Workplace Investigations” will be held Nov. 17 from 10 a.m.- 12 p.m. at East Valley America’s Job Center of California, located at 658 E.
