There are less than 3 months left in the year 2020- a year that impacted the world. As we edge near the end of this year, we can’t help but think of how our holidays will be affected. No matter what hardships we face, we will find a way to come together- whether it is social distanced or through video calls, we can still be together. We know that it may be difficult, so we and local businesses want to help.

City News Group is giving away $1,000 on December 3rd, 2020 and anyone 16 years or older has the chance to win with absolutely no purchase necessary. In addition, local businesses are giving away weekly prizes made just for you during these hectic times. Enter online at the City News Group website by clicking on all our participating advertisers’ ads and submitting an entry form.

This week’s winner, Leah Kelly, decided to enter when she saw a friend post about the sweepstakes.

“I figured I should enter—someone has to win!” Kelly said.

Kelly, a manager of a residential care facility for the elderly, has faced the impacts of the pandemic every day at work and in her personal life.

“At work we’ve been on lockdown for over 200 days,” Kelly said. “Everyone is going a little stir crazy. In my personal life I miss my friends and family. Most of my family lives in the Midwest so I’ve had to come to terms with not seeing them this year.”

Although she is a winner of one of the weekly prizes, Kelly is still entered and has the chance win the $1,000 on December 3rd. As this week’s winner of the weekly prize, Kelly has won a $30 valued gift card to her favorite pizza chain, Domino’s.

“I grew up in the cheese state (Wisconsin) so if I had to choose a pizza in California it would be Dominos,” Kelly said. “It’s the only pizza chain I’ll eat!”

Kelly and all Domino’s customers will be at ease when they place, pick-up and or are delivered their pizza because of Domino’s unwavering commitment that the safety of customers and the freshest quality of ingredients are their top priority.

Domino’s is currently offering a Mix and Match deal, you can choose any 2 or more items at $5.99 each, new carryout deal that comes with 10-piece wings and a 3-topping pizza, new specialty Chicken Taco and Cheeseburger large pizza for $11.99 and more amazing deals!

Domino’s current special deals and offers are perfect for any occasion and provide a perfect family meal at an affordable price. Having a craving for something more than pizza? Domino’s has a variety of food items that will satisfy any hunger.
