Missing Person Report

On 11-21-17, the Colton Police Department responded to a report of a missing person. Upon arrival officers identified the missing person as Arturo Aguilar 5’5”/140 lbs, Wht hair/Brn eyes, last seen wearing a black “LA” Dodgers hat, Blk/Wht checkered sweater and blue pants. Family members reported Aguilar is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia. Family stated Aguilar left the residence on foot possibly heading to his home located in the 700 block of S. 5th Street, Colton, CA. A coordinated search for Aguilar was conducted by Colton Police officers, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Aviation Division, and the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Bloodhound Unit. Aguilar was not located and the investigation is ongoing. The Colton Police Department is encouraging anyone in the community who sees or knows Aguilar’s whereabouts, call the Colton Police Department or their local Law Enforcement agency. Anyone with any additional information is asked to contact Detective Tony Jaeger at (909) 370-5000.
