Not many people realize that the non-profit Amputee Connections of Redlands is actually based   here in Grand Terrace. I want to express how appreciative we are for all the kindness in thoughts… deeds… actions… and donations we have received locally.

The Grand Terrace Lions club and Lion Frank Tetley helped us become a non-profit and have continues to support us to this day. As we have grown other area Lions clubs too.

Many kind G.T.residents and businesses have made all kinds of donations.

Grand Terrace City News, and Chamber of Commerce are always helping.

The City recently stepped up to the plate and helped us set up at City Hall for our interview with News anchor Kathy Vara for her NBC4LA Hero series on our group.

Last April we held our Annual Open House to honor Limb Loss Awareness Month at the hospital, we were helped with hosting by Grand Terrace Girl Scout Troop 610, led by Nicole Littlefield. They did an outstanding job.

Your kindness and donations helped send six of us, not the usual two, to our National Amputee Coalition Conference in Tucson last week! This event is a huge life changing experience for amputees to attend. I would like to share why it's so important to us.

Thank you all.
